The What A Witch series takes place in the Magic and Mayhem Universe, an authorized fan fiction world created by author Robyn Peterman. The setting is Assjacket, West Virginia and the locals are witches, Shifters, and other paranormal characters. The stories are funny, romantic, sometimes dangerous, and there are always Happily Ever Afters.

“It’s basically authorized fan fiction written by some amazing authors that I stalked and blackmailed! KIDDING! I was lucky and blessed to have some brilliant authors say yes! They have written brand new stories using my world and some of my characters. And let me tell you…the results are hilarious!

How Monette met Robyn
I was her Plotting Instructor during an RWA Boot Camp for aspiring writers. And for some reason, out of all the big name authors teaching, she singled me out as a mentor over breakfast. The book she asked me to read wasn’t even written yet. Thirty days later, she sent me How Hard Can It Be — and blew me away (I laughed so hard my cat jumped off my lap, and I snorted my Diet Pepsi.) I’m really glad I taught Boot Camp that year.
